First of all, thanks to amchess for his great work with Shashchess pchess engine.
I have a macbook pro, OSX Yosemite 10.10.5 as OS version, and I have problems with shashchess higher than 4.0. My Hiarcs Chess Explorer 1.9 give me an error message like "suddenly shashchess stopped working" ... sorry about my "english translation" as I'm spanish and I'm not sure about the correct translation to english of error text.
Could you help me with that kind of problems? 6.0 versions or newer of shashchess are not running on yosemite 10.10.5 operative system?
thanks!
ShashChess

Re: ShashChess
I don't know why because I don't have a MacBook.
I hope someone can compile it for you.
Best regards,
Andrea

Re: ShashChess 8.0
For new major releases (8.0, 9.0 etc) I'd suggest opening a new thread. This thread is rather full already.amchess wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2019 7:52 pm https://github.com/amchess/ShashChess/releases/tag/8.0
As usual other builds are welcome.

Re: ShashChess
Hi.
My goal is always to give a Stockfish derivative more suitable for a correspondence player and for an OTB player wanting understable lines at his level.
For this, I use Shashin theory.
There are a lot of difference from 7.
A summary is here:

Re: ShashChess
Thank you, Andrea. Great engine! I especially like its learning abilities.
I just hope you will continue to develop it. It is a very interesting project.
