I see the maximum number of threads has been increased from 16 to 64. It will be interesting to see how Booot fares in the next edition of TCEC.

Thanks for this latest version, which I downloaded today.
Booot just keeps getting stronger.
Would I be wasting my time trying to compile a native linux version from the source code using lazarus (linux version of Delphi) and FPC, or is it only for Windows OS?

tpoppins wrote: Fri Jun 29, 2018 5:37 pm Dropbox no longer allows direct downloads and their signup/login system is broken: "unable to complete this request" upon login. Using the Google account option leads to about 20 pages of CAPTCHAs. At any rate, there shouldn't be an account requirement to download a file that's supposed to be freely available to everyone.
I just downloaded it without even logging in. Top right corner, download > direct download.
Yes, direct download was successful for me too, although I had to try twice.
Indeed, why make it easy. Likely some new collaboration of a kind, but the small part in the right upper corner - direct downlod - worked for me as well.
For those who have had problems with download, other option is replace the last 0 of the URL by 1, that is, enabling dl=1 (download = yes) instead of dl=0 (download = no). It works for other Dropbox links according to my experience. So, for Booot 6.3, the following link should do the trick of allowing a direct download:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/soy5ux773vm1w ... e.rar?dl=1

(I copied the link of the OP and replaced the last 0 by 1, I do not know if there is an upgraded version of Booot 6.3 already out).

Regards from Spain.

I support this question: is it possible to compile a source version of the version under linux?

booot wrote: Fri Jun 29, 2018 2:17 pm Good day all!

Here is the link for the new version of my engine: https://www.dropbox.com/s/soy5ux773vm1w ... e.rar?dl=0
As usual, archive has Pascal sources and executables for x32, x64 and x64_popcnt.

This version will play in Stockholm soon. According my tests it has some good improvement (about 70-100 elo). But my tests a short, quick and unfair :-).

So, who likes Booot - just enjoy it!

Best regards,

Alex Morozov.
