LC0 & Cuda 9.2

Post by Lion »

Hello all,

I installed Cuda 9.2 and then opened LCO via Fritz 16, I see no speed difference.
Is there something else I need to do to increase the speed after Cua 9.2 installation?

rgds

FYI - I use a 1060 grafic card

You need to install cuDNN also, and place the DLLs in the same folder as LC0. Make sure you are using the latest build too: https://crem.xyz/lc0/

Thank you.

LC Zero and LCO are not the same engines and need to be installed sepparatly?

It seems I am missing the "cudnn64_7.dll"

Where can I find it?

rgds

EDIT: I was able to find the dll and run LC0, but its still running at 1kn/s.
I believe I didn't properly install "cudnn" ?

How should I do that?

You need to download it from Nvidia's site. It will provide the DLL in question.

Hi Lion
I suggest you go through this Topic very carefully. This is where I learnt how to install and use lc0-CUDA.
