I am surprised there are no comments about that new presentation (active since a few days), which arrived suddenly.
My feelings are mixed, to say the least !...
I have not been able to use the Search function (before : no problem)

Re: New phpBB Talkchess Forum presentation
I like the new look - it seems cleaner and brighter. I have not missed the search facility - either before or now, but perhaps that is just me.
I do agree it was a bit of a shock (but once I got used to it... ok)

Search seems to be fine, however boards are not getting displayed?

Re: New phpBB Talkchess Forum presentation
It seems search only yields matches for recent posts, not posts from before the migration?

Re: New phpBB Talkchess Forum presentation
Indeed, that seems to be the problem !
But you are the first I see speaking of migration.
I am somewhat appalled by the carelessness of Administrators or whoever in charge, who didn't have the elementary politeness to present the current changes.
Or did I miss something ?
...and for instance, what is the signification of the icons left of the threads, horizontal lines inside a circle, or twisted arrow inside a circle ???

Re: New phpBB Talkchess Forum presentation
That is is a regular thread, not an announcement (which would have an "i" instead).
I guess this is supposed to be a flame and denotes a long thread. It doesn't appear with up to 23 posts and starts with 24 posts.or twisted arrow inside a circle ???

I am thinking chess is in a coin.Human beings for ever playing in one face. Now I am playing in the other face:"Antichess". Computers are as a fortres where owner forgot to close a little door behind. You must enter across this door.Forget the front.

Concerning the Search function, it seems "some" progress has been made in the recent hours...
But for instance, I still cannot find, as Author, Lyudmil Antonov. Strange...

Look like we are missing the button "Thread view"?

Re: New phpBB Talkchess Forum presentation
Other problem I have seen is that the forum now show usernames but not names. Sometimes it is hard to guess who is who
