I tested MateFinder 9 Ipman compile and it's better than 2017 versions.
Here's mate in 15 from Chest database
[D]K4b2/B3p1p1/p2pP1p1/P1pN2N1/1pPk1P2/1p6/1P6/5B2 w - - bm #15; 00:00 @ C2/R0/K3/P1/X2;

MF finds it fast, but improves soon to mate in 10! Hope this wasn't prize winning composition :) .

I guess you have a quite old version of the ChestUCI database, because this position has been corrected already long time ago (to #10):

Yes, the latest Cfish is also failing here. I suppose this shows how aggressively Stockfish reduces/prunes.

Yes, the latest Cfish is also failing here. I suppose this shows how aggressively Stockfish reduces/prunes.
