Two wins for Stockfish 9 vs Stockfish 8. Seven draws. The new program is very aggressive and uses its king more in the endgame that the old Stockfish 8. Excellent play. T

Testing three cores now for each program. The results might be surprising.

With three threads, Stockfish 8 is being [offensive language] by Stockfish 9. This is so much fun. Massive improvement of play.

So is the increase of strength of Stockfish 9 over Stockfish 8. The new program is playing like Fischer, Reshevsky, Kasparov and Capablanca. This is one cool program.

After four games Stockfish 9 won two against Stockfish 8. There were two draws. Elo advantage 190 for Stockfish 9. Unbelievable.

I didn't notice any change in style for Stockfish until Contempt was introduced, which indeed led to some spectacular moves.

If you want more of this "play like great players of history" thing, set Contempt to 40, though, the elo advantage may not be as big.

I never expected top engines to play like this, and find it [offensive language]ing awesome!

Much better use of attacking pawns and mating threats and use of the king in coordinated attacks. Stockfish 8 is being slain.
