I will answer your question. I am an adult - this is the information for You.
For example, I can improve Zevra by 100 points ELO over a month. Or even 200. But each time it becomes more difficult and my engine has only 2200 points of ELO. The 3400 engine is an incredible work of developers, a huge number of patches, huge computing power used for testing.

As for your engine, I would write that you are ok. What is a stockfish that you need to let it into the world in two or three years as the ele will be around 100 and not now.
