Re: Relation between Nawito 1.1d and DanaSah 5.07
I received an e-mail from the Nawito programmer. The author has given me explanations of what Nawito is and because he has been slow to contact. He has also sent me the Nawito source code and has no problem making it public.

I have not had time to study the source code, but although almost everything commented on the origins of the Nawito engine is still valid, however Nawito is not only a modification of the DanaSah source code, but it is writing from scratch following as a guide mainly to DanaSah but with important changes in the internal structure and using a 0x88 movement generator with pieces lists. The evaluation is very different and as expected it has added more knowledge about endings. If the engine follows 100% the search for DanaSah 5.07. The author also used some other engine as a reference.
For my part, the author did a good job and now knowing what Nawito is and with source code available all is OK.
