Yes, it could be something with the mp programming because after changing the core to one it works under ARENA 3.51.
But it works only when running with one core.
i hope i couldt help.

With 1-, 2- and 4-CPU it works under the Classic GUI on my Intel i5 / Windows 7 Prof.
Perhaps an OS issue?
Best wishes,

Thanks, you found a bug for me! I had disabled the currmove output when more than one thread is used and I forgot to enable it again before this release. I put this on a list for a possible bugfix release. But I'll wait a little while to see if any other bugs show up before making version 2.61.

Hi Stan
This are fantastic news that we found the right issue.
I had hoped to use a Wasp 2.61 for liveanalyzing of the last two rounds of the FIDE Grand Prix in Mallorca.

But its not the last day of the world.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Greetings

Re: Wasp 2.60 by John Stanback released!
Really an excellent improvement and huge improvement in playing style.
I've seen positional pawn sacrifices and very human-like handling of semi-closed/closed positions as well.
Kind of reminds of of Vladimir Kramnik in playing style now.
And now having multi-PV for analysis is the icing on the cake.
Thanks a lot John (and Frank).
P.S. Wasp still had a few painful defeats vs the upcoming Rodent GM personalities! As well as some impressive wins. Exciting times ahead.
