Who of you accomplishes the problem to run this engine successfully on a Windows 64-bit operation system?
Best wishes,
Norbert

Re: Shallow Blue Chess 1.01 (UCI) x64
Thanks for the info! The lastest compile in the 'Issues' section even works here on my no popcount machine. ShallowBlue will be added to the chronology.Norbert Raimund Leisner wrote:Hello,

(BTW I think the name is sufficiently different to the program 'Shallow2' respectively 'Shallow2')
Just the nodes and time info in the UCI info output is missing so far, but I guess the author will add it later.
It seems to like to develop both Knights before the pawns in the opening. Below are two test games w/o books.
Probably it plays better from start positions/books because of that opening malus.
At least the shown search depth currently doesn't exceed depth 4.

Re: Shallow Blue Chess 1.01 (UCI) x64
Are these builts made for Haswell-computers too (=.BMI2 executables)? Cannot run both 1.0.2 versions on my pc with ivy-bridge-microarchitecture
(Windows 7 64 bit SP1)
Who made similar or the same experiences with Shallow Blue 1.0.2 for Windows?
