Quite shocked, with huge late

I've been away from computer chess in last 7 years. When I joined this forum again, it was normal to believe nothing changed, but...

I just read about Don Dailey. I remember him just because this forum, and a discussion we had about a possible bug with Komodo 3.

I feel really sad. I hope Don is in a better place than ours.

Sorry for this post, which comes 4 years late.

I still do miss don Dailey. Sometimes I think I could write him an email.
Or send him a game Komodo played. Wherever he is, I wish he is happy there and still programs chess engines for fun.

If I remember right he passed away while Komodo was in the finals of a TCEC tournament, I think against Stockfish. I remember he was following it in the hospital until his last few days.

I see. I didn't know Steven, I only remember his name. I feel sorry for him too. These facts remember me nothing is forever. And it seems senseless the fight for gaining 5 ELOs, while Computer Chess could just be an excuse for friendship.
