DGT sensory boards, any experience?

Post by Amstaff »

Hello, I am thinking of buying a DGT board and clock to play against some of my programs. Laptop is a 64-bit quad-core running windows 7. I have
all the standard GUIs, but was intending to use Shredder 13 with the board.
I am interested in going with the Bluetooth DGT setup, just wondering if anyone has any experience with these boards, any issues, troubleshooting, etc.
My thanks in advance for any comments.

Hi Gerald,

I don't have experience with the Bluetooth boards, however I do own the USB model that came before it. I have owned my DGT board for close to 10 years if not more now and I have recently upgraded my DGT Clock. I have not had any issues with it. I would advise that you install both the 64bit and 32bit drivers as I once had and issue using the Shredder GUI and if my memory serves me correctly that was the cause of the problem.

PS: I am considering buying and configuring a Raspberry Pi for use with the DGT board.

Hello.

Just for your information.
There will be new cheaper plastic DGT boards available in the near future.

See this forum post of a DGT distributor.
