So far, Stockfish is none too keen on the position for white:

Taking ideas is not a vice, it is a virtue. We have another word for this. It is called learning.
But sharing ideas is an even greater virtue. We have another word for this. It is called teaching.

9. Ng5 is the beginning of a wrong plan. From that move onwards, the game goes downhills. White does not have development advantage. Plus that White does not control the centre. There is nothing that would suggest a piece sacrifice.

The open h file alone does not cut because the queen is too far away and the rook on a1 cannot take part because White has not castled.

White is lost, and you don't need an engine to see this.

Let me explain, because I don't mean to sound rude.

1. White is a piece down

2. He sacked the piece to open the h-file, but...

3. None of his pieces are actively placed to exploit it, because...

4. Black stands better in the center, has more space, plenty of pieces on the kingside to protect the king, and can begin to force exchanges at any time.

A quick verbal assessment of the position as I've done, makes the proper outcome clear.

Usually when a positional sacrifice is made, it is made in return for an intangible value: time.

But white gets absolutely no time in this case because of point #4.

Remember the old maxim of Steinitz: "Your attack has no hope if your opponent stands better in the center"

or the words of Fritz GUI's old "Full Analysis" feature: "That doesn't get the cat off the ice!"
