Sunsetter 9 under Arena GUI

Post by Charly »

Hi,

I'm trying to use Sunsetter 9 under Arena 3.5.

The engine is installed as a Winboard engine.

When I launch a tournament, Sunsetter 9 indicates "illegal move" as soon as it is out of Arena Mainbook, and stops.

I got the same when I disable the Arena Mainbook.

Does anyone has exeprienced this problem with Arena ?

PS : My file Sunsetter contains only Sunsetter.exe.

Sunsetter 9 can only play crazyhouse and bughouse.

The latest Sunsetter can only play Crazyhouse/Bughouse.

You can use Winboard to do so. It doesn't support standard chess.

There are very old versions of Sunsetter, that can play normal chess:

Tested "C9d". The UCI Version doesn't seem to be working.

Ok, I understand now...Ithought it could play "normal chess" also.
