Sharp opening and probably a book win
The position after 14 ..Ne5 is end of the Noomen book
Till move 18 ..Re8 position is in the Chessbase live book
Than position allready +0,83 according to SFdev at d30 with best move Ng3
But still nice game

Yes, I share the "probably a book win " opinion as well. Komodo put up a good fight, plan to analyze with Stockfish to see if black had better moves.

Below is game with annotations from MacBrain2.0 engine (hash:1GB, intel i5, without tbs).
Analyze time: 100 minutes.

-----
MB2.0 think 14...Ne5 is rather weak move.
Im my human point of view, 35...Rca7 started wrong plan & 36...Rxa2 is cleary mistake. After 37.Ba4 -> black rook is trapped.
Maybe 35...Rb8 is correct and black can hope to survive.

We thought during the game there were some chances of black holding eg.
40...Rxa4!? then the evaluation for white does not go up also 56...e2 was worth a try.

Yes, 40...Rxa4 is better choice than 40..Rb7. Black have chance to activate pieces and game is still on.

Ha, ha, ha,

Hiarcs running on 28 core Intel Xeon E5-2697, 2.6 GHz vs
for Komodo a modest Intel I7 6700K 4-4.2 GHz

Harvey Williamson is such a mean salesman here, no point in bragging about such a "victory".

Thanks for pointing out the red herring.

The rules allow you to use the best hardware that you can find. People enter these tournaments on huge clusters eg Sjeng Jonny Zappa. It has never stopped these engines 'bragging' about such a victory.

Not a rule I particularly like but you make the best of whatever the rules are.

Thank you for this fair answer.

Now, I personally dislike tournaments where apples are competing with oranges for the best banana price.
