Hi Leo,

If you're referring to the benchmark from about six weeks ago, then it was fake. They are saying the Ryzen will be really fast at integer math, so I'm hopefully we'll see Fritz Benchmarks of > 22k

Thanks a lot for that info Steve. That is great news and means the future Naples server has a lot of potential at a lot less cost then Intel.

I kind of doubt it is going to outperform current-generation i7s and Xeons. But we will see.

On the other hand they are talking about 32-core server processors (in future), so that is interesting. Not so much so you can run one engine on 32 cores but for testing, parameter tuning, matches, etc.
