That is 334 IPON Elo. The CCRL result will likely be less than 334 since the CCRL uses Bayeselo instead of Ordo and there are differences in the underlying models for those 2 progams.

At one point it had to happen :-)

shredderchess.de will be next.
The Mac and Linux versions will follow in a few days.

Thanks to all for their patience

Will you update the shredder chess app for android and iOS with this new engine soon?

Thanks

is there any chance that you will offer a stand-alone version of your engine?

I do not see the necessity of yet another gui for my personal use.
Valid question in view that the GUI brings absolutely nothing new, as far as I can see so far.
Please see my other post in this thread about the new GUI features.

Yes, of course, this is the idea.
However next in line are the new Linux and Mac versions.

Marvelous news.
Taking ideas is not a vice, it is a virtue. We have another word for this. It is called learning.
But sharing ideas is an even greater virtue. We have another word for this. It is called teaching.

The engine was a complete rewrite, but also the GUI got some new features.

Shredder comes with more than 1000 built-in chess puzzles, there is a feature to learn and play certain openings. You can practice some endgames and play handicap matches with move or material advantage.

A few new hires piece sets and boards where added and the design is more modern and nicer.

Some more minor features have been added.

And even though some believe that the GUI is without bugs, many small and some larger bugs have been fixed.

Stefan
As a rewrite, how did you balance the extensive chess knowledge of the previous Shredders with your new design? Did you incorporate many ideas from the previous ones or is this a complete change?

P.S. Does the GUI have the ability to run "Triple Brain" engines matches with this new version?

I bought the inexpensive Shredder Classic 5 just to get the updated Shredder interface. Even the Classic 5 engine is strong!

I have been buying Shredder since version 11, and I will buy this version, too. No need for tests or whatever. I trust that you would not have released this version if it hadn't been worth buying, and I'll put my money where my mouth is - literally.
