PS: unfortunately I can not create engine in Fritz GUI. Something is wrong...

I only wish he would NOT corrupt / misuse existing terminology. SMP = Symmetric MultiProcessor, not anything else. It makes discussion impossible when everyone has different definitions of the same term.

For example, the subject of this thread is highly misleading as it is NOT about a parallel search

With the normal version you need to edit the wb2uci.eng file.

old - Name = ProDeo 2.2 SMP
new - Name = ProDeo 2.2

Corrected in the download.

Yes I did. I also got the message that I have to use >empty> string or something like that in order to create the engine. Once I did I still can not find the engine even though it says is created as >empty>...
It is very confusing.. :?
