And this is exacly the file from smt195.zip archive?..
Do you have also any other files in engine folder? (for example, old ini file)
You are using engine as UCI?
Do you have problems both with 32-bit and 64-bit engines?..

this is the file: SmarThink_v195_x64_SSE42_standalone.exe 333.824 23.05.2016 14:30 -a--
and this is the old .ini file:

; Setup file for the SmarThink

; Use endgame tablebases or no

UseEGTB=on

; Path to tablebase files

EGTBpath=F:\sbases

I use the engine as uci engine, and I made no games with 32bit version.
I played on 2 diffenent intel pcs with these files. I played inside Shredder GUI on the quad. I made 4 games parallel with 4 times Shredder GUI started and Engine 1x installed.
At the moment I have 1 Shredder GUI started with ucilog on and with ucidebug on. No crashes so long.

Add on:
very often I find games lost in time from SmarThink in draw endgame positions e.g. 6 men Endgame is draw (I have only 5men installed).
But I have had no more lose in time with games where only 1 Smarthink was involved on the quad and ucilog was on!

Please have a look at this game on move 77 and 78. Why do the 5men Syzygy bases not always show 0.00 ?

Werner

I am glad, I am through with the test. Even in the last match with only 1 time SmarThink started I found games with lost in time.
