Harvey,

Any approximate timeframe for the release of the latest Hiarcs? I'm especially interested in the iPad release oddly enough -- it is my favorite engine on the iPad for both playing against (nice weaker levels) and analysis (more feature rich than other engines that are somewhat stronger).

Thanks,

Roy

Louis,
which SF version did you use?

I tried it with SF 16032816_x64_modern on an AMD 8 core system, using 16GB hash and syzygy tables (yes, there were tb hits).

Any approximate timeframe for the release of the latest Hiarcs? I'm especially interested in the iPad release oddly enough -- it is my favorite engine on the iPad for both playing against (nice weaker levels) and analysis (more feature rich than other engines that are somewhat stronger).

Thanks,

Roy
Hopefully later this year.
Wow, we've gone from "spring" to "Hopefully later this year". Not very reassuring, although I must admit I have zero interest in the engine, as long as it keeps being sold as part of the HCE bundle.

Komodo 9.3 doesn't like Rg7 as Stockfish does.
It takes a bit for Komodo to recognize Rg7 as quite good move (peak eval was +0.89), but never best
