Is there a way to turn this off? I do not want Arena to always restart like that.
I can't see why that is thought to be a new feature. Arena has been doing that for ages and it cannot be switched off even though there is a checkbox for it. I hate it too.
I have it off with Arena 3.5, and it does not auto-restart. By "off" I mean set to a high value, so it never kicks in. BTW, I don't see a checkbox for it in Arena 3.5

What antivirus program is reporting these files as infected?

I have just downloaded both arena_3.5.1.zip and arena_3.5.1setup.exe from http://www.playwitharena.com/?Download:Arena_3.5.1 then scanned them at virustotal.com.

Both files had scores of 0 / 54. Ie, after being scanned by 54 different antivirus programs, neither of them showed any indications of a virus.

It's the web page that is infected, not the download files.

This Sucuri scan of the page gives some details of the infection. https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/ww ... harena.com

I have download zip file with no problem or virus.....
After some tests, the "forfeit" problem when ponder is on, still remains (from 3.5 version. The version 3.0 does not have this bug)

My anti-virus program says the arena site has a virus. I won't try to download anything from there until it is fixed.

In the html source of this page

http://playwitharena.com/?Download

This javascript looks like a virus because it is calling itself javascript but has a php extension and it is being served by another domain:

Code: Select all

If someone from Arena wants help getting rid of the virus, they can PM me.
