Rebel 13 is released

REBEL 13 is the successor of REBEL 12 (2003) twelve years later and 12 yeas after the programmer of REBEL retired from the competition and commerce. REBEL 13 is estimated 200-250 elo points stronger than REBEL 12 but that's not the main reason of the new REBEL release.
It costs only 25 Euro.

that probably will not work anymore; i think the
Rebel chess software firm was taken over by
lokasoft some years ago;

if i browse under products i see Rebel12,
not (yet?) Rebel13, but you can mail the owner

ah if it works, then it's just by exception, only for Rebel13;
also possible maybe is that rebel13.nl also is owned by lokasoft.
he also took over for example my domain name superchess.com
So lokasoft is not dead, (i'm not affiliated in business but i
know the owner), he has been working (besides a job) on
ChessPartner 8 but i don't know what his current plans are.

looked at the facebook site, and it looks like Ed Schröder;
so he seems to be working on an update of Rebel13
(apparently already existing in 2013), and then sell
it independently as individual/programmer, not
as software company anymore; interesting, but anyway,
why not call it Rebel 14 then ?

Jef, you are correct, Lokasoft is alive and kicking as far as I know and back then was given the exclusive rights to distribute Rebel 12. The rebel13.nl site is mine of course, even so the facebook account.

well, then, please clarify us the status of that rebel 13.
It is an old engine or something you have refitted lastly?
It is just a new commercial adventure of an old engine?
