Komodo 9 question ...

Hi Larry, Mark,

from which exactly date is Komodo 9 x64.
For the fight around place 1 vs. current dev. version of Stockfish. I can see that latest Stockfish dev. is from: April 26th, 2015.

In Komodo 9 download files from the morning I can see that all files are from the date of ordering, my Komodo 9 x64 *.exe file too.

Should be interesting because Komodo 9 and Stockfish dev. should be around from the same date.

Maybe the Komodo 9 release version is an older dev. version?

I will start the fight around place 1 in the very late afternoon. Thinker 5.4d Inert x64 is playing the last 70 games so far!

Not surre ... both to the same time or at first Komodo 9 and at second Stockfish dev. Both to the same time = 3.200 games = 12,8 days. and each one have played 1.600 45-minutes games on i7 4.3 Ghz. I think better Komodo 9 at first.

I believe you are seeing the timestamp from when the files get uncompressed. If you explore the ZIP without decompressing it, you should see a different timestamp for the EXEs.

Mine is 4/28/2015 9:39AM (which would be hours in the future for me as of now!)

The actual compile date for Komodo 9 was 24 April 2015. The dates program files will be whatever date you ordered Komodo on,

Hello Mark,

"The Fight for Place 1" started for minutes ...
I am using Stockfish 260415 BMI2 x64 ... April 26th, 2015.
Two days more actual as K9 but I think this one is OK.

Both engines runs to the same time ... Need around 12 days.
