when I run this Alfil using 4 cores, it always wants to use 2.7gb hash, no matter what I change it to in the parameters.

I´m using statistics and reserve memory to sort move list and evaluate first moves more important.
It has been reserving several memory. I am solving this problem, this is a bug. It´s a beta version.
