I listened to you. It's just not doable without an own interface.fern wrote:You are not a man to stay in the background.
Proof of this is your Prodeo thing, which is a way to stay inside, though a little bit in the margin.
You still MUST create the new paradigm of chess programs, still not tried: the real Chess friend capable of so many things, besides playing strong, that I am explaining to some programmer since at least 1 years without being listened.......

NO.
I always felt very happy and thankful that for some coins I was capable of getting such marvelous program.
I Liked very much the GUI, all the functions and the kind of play of rebel.
Only part I hated was the install issue, you know what I mean......

+1
I was always happy to purchase the old Rebel, M-chess, and Genius programs. That was a different time in computer chess.

Re: Our first leaflet
and what is the problem to develop such a new GUI?
If you does not like to try the hand on that, certainly there are many programmers that are into that.
Revive Rebel!
Believe me, Ed, the age of engine-strength-race is over.
The field to be explored is that that chessbase already opened years ago, BUT still mainly not worked.
Besides, you cannot continue living just playing with your dog...
Wuau wau regards

Developing a GUI is not easy at all. Re-organizing a GUI is terrible.fern wrote:and what is the problem to develop such a new GUI?

I always turn off multi-media --- multi-crap content from chess GUIs. Seriously, did you ever enjoyed that?fern wrote:You are not a man to stay in the background.

"The AIBO dog goes through the stages of a puppy, child, teen and adult. The more interaction you have with him, the faster he grows up. AIBO actually has emotions and instincts programmed into his brain. AIBO learns how to get what he wants. He will wave his legs around and/or express anger if he does not get the attention he wants. Your care will greatly influence his growth and personality."
Yes, I know, you probably mean this 3D GUI:
Mini-Machina Eta is officially up for Pre-Order!
It's 29cm of curvy attitude and plays chess!

Yes, Kai, I love all that.
I like to make of my chess experience not only the accustomed defeat, but also a feast of little childish things...
