I took pthreadGC2.dll that I used with other programs, renamed it to pthreadGC2-w32.dll, and all was good. Maybe Fabio can include the file in his release package, though.

A fast solution:

I have added pthreadGC2-w32.dll to the package, you should copy it in c:\Windows\System32

The next time I will link it statically

I think that is a gross understatement. Unless, of course, if 150 Elo, which my first tests seem to indicate, is small for you.
Wow,this is huge....

So,can you name some programs of similar strength of the new Pedone :!: :?:

Pedone 1.0 is buggy. Whenever game starts, it says Pedone caused exception, game stopped, and another game starts, without the first one beeing finished and so it goes on and on.. Can this be fixed ?

It is not an engine bug but it's a GUI problem. The GUI does not send the ucinewgame command.
Try it with Arena or Winboard.
