It says in your profile that you're into rock music. I can't picture you with your arm raised up giving the horn sign and flicking your lighter to Black Sabbath. :)
My favourite is Snow Blind. But Christians ought not to listen to that music. For instance N.I.B. explicitly names Lucifer. Quite shocking.

Most engines are full of black magic. Some call them monsters or beasts. Beware.

[ Actually all non Christian music is devils' music or music written by psycho's, lunatics and mentally ill people. Normal people don't create music]

Yes, and some so called christian groups put up a front that they are Christians in their life but they are not. It is just PR strategy.

12)...Kxd6?? was a horrible move. Komodo 8 on my end does e4 with white only having slight advantage. In fact no program I have wants to do Kxd6?? Kxd6 just opens up black to a horrible assault on the king.
I sense a hash glitch here but maybe there is another reason for this indeed horrible move :!: :?:

Thanks Graham. My 7 zip has a hard time opening this file. I finally extracted the engine but when I moved it to a different folder, it said the file is broken and wouldn't complete the transfer. I'm not sure if that happened to anyone else or not.

Sincerely,

Tim.

I had no problem with it whatsoever. Try downloading it again. Something could've gotten corrupted along the lines, doesn't happen often but it does sometimes.

Hi Sedat,

the question is since which version from Equinox?
Programmer is reading, perhaps he an give us more information?
Possible that he do it?

Same problem with Critter ... but here I find a good way for FCT1.

That is really bad! A nice development up to version x ...
After that suddenly big Elo jumpings and to see is allways the same if you compare it with other derivative engines.

But not very important ...
One derivative engine more or less ... the community like that!
Many people can't have enough derivative engines or clones.

Very difficult to see such things for each of the engines.

Good known rating lists are in a short time full of clones and derivative engines. With the result that the measuremensts are unexactly, not important how many games played.

That was the main reason I lost my interest in testing engines in the past. It's a hard work to try to see more with games and stats only. But here directly all is clear in most of cases!

After all ...
We have so many own engine developments and enough material for testing.

Best
Frank
