Because it is smart to let the engine speak for itself for developmental purposes. It is a good thing.

Would be very nice to have also a syzygy compile.
I'll love to analyze endgames over my iPad and I'm sure I'm not alone :D

Yes Stockfish 5 works fine on my machine too. In a five minute game I see Skipper being slaughtered and a checkmate within 33 moves.

I think Skipper lost this game because Stockfish has better time management.

I have already tried a simple version of King tropism but it was no improvement.
