If I'm reading correctly at
http://tests.stockfishchess.org/tests/v ... 35dbfeea67
the latest Stockfish development version is about 57 ELO stronger than Stockfish DD, which was released in late November.
Code: Select all
ELO: 57.41 +-1.8 (95%) LOS: 100.0%
Total: 57848 W: 16542 L: 7070 D: 34236
Pretty impressive!

And only 0.3 elo since April 27th.
But for that time they improved SMP code, so that is a very important thing.
Time to release SF 5.

Hello Oliver:

I am not sure but I think it was a tribute to Don Dailey (the programmer of Komodo). SF DD was released around 19th November, 2013 (writing from memory) and those days Don Dailey was very ill or recently died.
Regards from Spain.
