News on OSX chess engines?

Post by Max »

Hi,

can’t find (the promised) OSX binaries for Black Mamba 2.0 and Gaviota 1.0. Any hidden links? 8-)

Thanks,

BlackMamba is not yet fully working on OSX. I've got a version that works only on latest osx :?

Julien mentioned something already, but to give more details, Mac OS X does not support unnamed semaphores, despite it claims to be POSIX complaint. Technically, it is, it just returns an error with an empty function. Replacing the scheme is giving some problems that may be stupid to resolve but I have not yet. But I am working on it.
