Thank You!
Buy one and put Toga on it Ted. Then enter CCT.

Fruit is already playing on an iPad there though.......and Fruit followed by Jellybeans or even Ice Cream Sandwiches might be more than anyone can take.......without throwing up of course.

:)

The thing is that is a 32bit processor running 32bit stockfish. Imagine when Samsung makes a 64bit processor using 64bit stockfish. It will receive a much larger nps than ipad air.

Depends on how big the cache will be that is used, if samsung
Just comes out with 64 Bit without increasing the Cache Sizes...

Never mind, I am going with the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2.

The Note Pro 12.2 is rocking Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and Android 4.4 KitKat OS.

correct! But samsung chips always use large cache sizes. That is why the note 2 had such a huge nps over those with faster processors.

The note 10.1 2014 is very close to ipad air in nps. Even if cache size stayed the same, Samsung's upcoming 64 bit processor would be faster in frequency than note 10.1 and also 64 bit stockfish would naturally have a higher nps count. But don't count apple out. Their upcoming ipad air pro might be even faster. Have you noticed that Apple newest devices have speeds twice as fast as the previous model since ipad 3?

its going to have a lower benchmark than note 10.1 2014 since the snapdragon processors have small cache sizes. They are not the best for chess but they are not terrible either.

Note: snapdragon 800 is old and outdated. The exynos chip for note 10.1 2014 is faster. Wait for snapdragon 805. I heard it will be 64bit.
