From scratch = started as empty file in text editor. So did Buzz. Pradu is member of Dirty team, I don't get your point :)
Nothing, I would guess from scratch Buzz
Dirty not.

Regarding DiscoChek, Lucas can tell if it is from scratch.

And nothing martin, just friendly comments, Sedat know what you want

Dirty, EveAnn, Myrddin, FireFly, iCE, DiscoCheck, ExChess, Tornado, Frenzee, Glass, Arminius (used to be Hermann), cheng and of course GreKo :)
Memory can play tricks.

From zero, at least two, NO.

I can send if interested

Code: Select all

Note: Silverlight is installed on my system
You're welcome. I'm sure someone will help you to get Frenzee.
There are many more I forgot (excluding those already mentioned):
Texel, OctoChess, old Pseudo and Phalanx, Crafty, Pro Deo, Delfi, Movei, Rodin ...
I think it would be easier to exclude derivatives :)
Ok...but I have just seen a posting that Crafty is based on Cray blitz (Non-scratch engine)
Ok, I see, for your tournament (your rules) you are looking for a certain type of engines whose names are not attached to anything in the past, regardless if they are legit or not, or even if it is the same author (correct me if I am wrong). Clearly, when the author is the same, there should be no problem, but not in your case. Hey, people decide to include or exclude engines for a variety of reasons... that is fine. Then, yes, Dirty is related to EveAnn/Buzz (same author/s), Arminius to Hermann (same author), and you may like to take a look at Murka because it is not clear it did not started as Belka/Strelka (there was a little bit of controversy when it was released). Movei is not considered a derivative of TSCP, but at the beginning Uri declared that started it studying TSCP and played with it until it removed all the code. You may like to talk to him.

Btw, I have downloaded the 32-bit version of DiscoCheck52x32TM

Is it available 64-bit one ? and if yes, can anybody publish me the direct download link of DiscoCheck x64?

Thanks

SMIRF has been written genuinely. It is not Open Source. There is no more need to put it into any 8x8 competition.
