I think it is the avx instruction which is supported only on newer CPUs. Here it fails too on my I7 920:

"Please verify that both the operating system and the processor support Intel(R)
AVX1 instructions."
This is the message from System. As this avx instruction has only minimal increase of Speed I would suggest to compile without.
