I spoke too soon... on games 303 and 304, chessgui reports an illegal move by Octochess on move 3 and 8 respectively . So it looks like it found an opening position that it could not handle. When I get time I'll investigate. It may not be what I think - maybe it is Frenzee that caused the issue and Octochess is in the clear.

Oh - my fault. I'd set it up in another GUI, and by force of habit had set the castling standard as 960_HAha instead of the 960_OO that Ocotchess requires.

If you can pass arguments to the executable, please do the following:
1. Add this argument with a path of your choice: --logfile P:\ath\for\the\log.file
2. Play a game with 960_HAha until it reports illegal move
3. Send me the log

Actually it's a bug in Octochess. Not using 960_HAha only sidesteps it. Will be fixed in the next version.

I updated my copy running on OICS.
Congrats on the release. I'm very anxious to try it in FRC mode now.
