It is called, in Spanish, "el perro guason", translated to English as something like "The humorous and/or witty dog". The engine is based in Nimzo by C. Donninger and so, plays a strong game et all, but the special thing is the lovely gui with a very funny dog that makes comments, bark, get fear, laugh on you, tease you, etc. I wonder if this game exist in a German or English version or only in Spanish.
BTW, is very fast: more than 3 million moves per second in middle game.

Hi Fern,
I am afraid, it is a copy of a Commercial Program, I think from Chessbase. In Germany it was called "Schach dem Schweinehund".

Accordant to CSS 6/2000 "The bastard" is a profound German idea ("Der Schweinehund" ist eine zutiefst deutsche Idee). A Spanish release was published under the title Jaque Al Perro Guason.
