Toga can use 8 cpu too, although it won't be much stronger than the 4 cpu version.

What about my dear old Scorpio ?
I never figured out why you were not able to run it on 8 cpus.

Hi Daniel,

yeah - really strange.
It will run okay on 4 cores, but not 8 cores on the same computer.
I wonder whether anybody else has tried to run Scorpio 2.7.5 64-bit on 8 cores?

Interestingly, I had the same issue with Delphil.

I'll put Scorpio back in my list anyway. :)

Scorpio has trouble with 16 cores too, crashes all the time. I hope Daniel can look at this before nTCEC Season 2 starts. :)

Thanks Graham and Martin for testing my engine. I will look into the problem, which probably is something that rarely shows up. I have done quite a few 8 cpu games and run test positions on 12 core AMD cpus with no problem here.
