ok its solved !!!!!!!

searched for msvcr100.dll and msvrp100.dll
found both in folder for mozilla firefox
copy it into rotor folder

... its solved - engine is running properly

This has to do with static versus dynamic linking, I will look into it.

Yes that missing DLL is the problem I had too.

What I needed to install was something like the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package. You shouldn't have to do that, it ought to be possible to distribute an engine exe that simply works ?

I agree with you, this is too bothersome for users.
It should be possible to avoid this by linking to static libraries, I will look into this.
