Hello !

Conditions:

TC=4'+2"
Hash=128 MB
Book=Shredder12.ctg
GUI=Fritz 11
CPU=Athlon 64 3800+

Alfil 13 w32 1CPU=2478 ELO CEGT (4/40) +12
Rotor 0.7= 2466 ELO CEGT (4/40)

Like observation: in the second capture you can see very clear what means the lack of tablebases access !

Regards,
SilvianR :wink:

Seems to run fine, and replaced previous version in ongoing Android tournament. Thanks.

Hi Mike,

Can you give some more information, an error message perhaps?
What happens if you run the executable from the DOS command prompt?
I ran the executable on a Windows 7 64 bit PC and it seemed to work OK.

On my Win7 x64 laptop it would not run unless I installed a package from Microsoft, can't recall exactly what it was.

Hi Jan

first error hint:

" the programm did nt start cause MSVCR100.dll is missing on your PC. Install it to solve ..."

than i ask aunt google and installed MS visual c++ 2010 and its sp1 (vcredist_x64.exe) on win7x64 than do a reboot

but that does not solve this problem

than i copied an msvcr100.dll file (2013/02/28) i found on web in win-system32 folder and win-syswow64 folder and also in rotor-folder ... after reboot comes a new error hint:

"prog could not start correctly (0x000007b). Press ok to close it"

the console output is exactly like the first error hint

Yes that missing DLL is the problem I had too.

What I needed to install was something like the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package. You shouldn't have to do that, it ought to be possible to distribute an engine exe that simply works ?
