Calibrating new engines
===============

1) Run a tournament with the new engines.
2) Define an Elo range under menu "Utilities... / ManageElos...".
3) Fake Elos by interpolation.

Of course you can alternatively define each engine Elo during installation. :wink:

Matthias - every so often, ChessGUI 0.240g and 2.40h go like this. The problem normally comes right after a while on its own though.

Hi Graham,

it is a display problem which happens when you launch multiple instances of ChessGUI on the same computer, and then close one of the ChessGUI instances.

A work-around now is to launch another ChessGUI instance just to solve the display problem.

A bugfix shall follow.

btw,

ChessGUI books
==============
ChessGUI has 2 book formats.
- the *.cgb books are remis books to provide fair openings for both sides
- the *.bk3 books are winning books to help an engine get an advantage
Any engine (even without book support) can use a *.bk3 book under ChessGUI.
