Looking for chess tactics positions to download and print ou

Post by Amstaff »

I want to start my own epd or pgn collection of tactical puzzles, combinations, etc. where I can download only the positions with which side to move, and without any solutions.
Does anyone have any ideas as to where to look?
Many thanks,
Gerald

Sure there's thousand of positions on internet. You've to be a bit more specific : wich level, what's the use, wich kind of positions, for computer or human ?

Hello Vincent, thanks for your reply. I found what I wanted at the Ossmitz website. I just wanted to download some tactical puzzles, endgame positions, etc. and print the diagrams in Chessbase for my own study and testing.

I have used DB books site which has converted many books into PGN files.I have the password because I converted the positions from a book. Many of the books are not password protected and you should find some gems from the list that is supplied.
