These topics are not completely new: here is the first one, regarding some 7-man TB (including one rook each side):

Testing of some 7-men tables.

These tablebases were used in the analysis of the second game of tie-breaks of the recent World Chess Championship: I saw the use of Lomonosov tablebases at the official site.

And here is the second topic, about FinalGen software:

NEWS: FinalGen chess endgame tablebase generator.

AFAIK FinalGen does not solve complete tablebases (let us say KRPP vs. KRP) but certain positions up to one piece per side. Anyway, it looks great.

A reminder is always welcome! I want to congratulate you for a huge rating list I see sometimes (the grand unified rating list), maintained by you.

They're not yet available. Files are big ... 111 GB for the RPP-RP (and needed 9 TB to be generated !) : http://rybkaforum.net/cgi-bin/rybkaforu ... #pid415752
