From what I have seen, it is Crafty 18.xx that List may have similarity to.
Maybe you can ask a few British - past few years they show an extraordinary interest in documenting everything about computerchess and engines over there, especially towards the arabs, but well let's not mix myself too much into the survival of their nation - the arabs saved UK during the creditcrisis of the past few years by pumping in a trillion or so.
