Thx Robert. That's a bit weird: Under Arena, I have not a single time loss when playing blitzes with 0+0.150ms
EDIT: oh, just saw it was the Mac version. Yes, I know that the Mac versions are a bit slower for this release...

_No one can hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you can hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward….

Are you serious

Yes, right now I'm having a match between Pred 2.2.1_x64 and an experimental version running in Arena in a virtual machine (Parallels Desktop) on my Mac, and after 528 games I have not a single time loss at 0s/game + 150ms/move
Why? Are you experimenting some time losses?

This is not a mere loss on time. I'm seeing 'Black disconnects' which generally means that the engine crashed. With tc=40/5 there's no crash.

No,no....it's just that these time controls are too long for me

Ouch... I just realized that my MacOSX Intel compile is a 32 bits one!
I just compiled it in 64bits and the nps under perft jumped from 9Mnps to 17Mnps... Sooooorry....
(Yeah, the Mac binaries where really made in a hurry, that's why...)
