Post by Andres Valverde »

Hi all,

EveAnn 1.67 can be downloaded at :

http://webs.ono.com/a.valverde/eveann.htm

From the Readme.txt file :

Code: Select all

1.67 : Changes in search and eval
               Bugs fixed
It may be +40 ELO over 1.66
               Played OpenWar 9th (http://www.open-aurec.com/chesswar/OpenWar/OpenWar09/crosstable.htm)
Only 32 bit Windows version, sorry.
Ponder is disabled as it remains buggy.
Saludos, Andres

Thx Andres, and congratulations! :) I'll download it right now.

Still, how do you want me to catch up if you get +40 Elo when I get +30?

Don't worry, I tested it only in my wife's laptop (shhhh....) and very few games so it may be not improved :-) . My Quad is devoted to Dirty tests 24/7

Thanks !

Congrats Andres! +40 is cool!
Why not fix the ponder bug? I guess not enough time

Well, i have to do a major rewrite of my polling code, so i always find excuses to work in other funnier things :). Meanwhile, EveAnn takes advantage of others' ponder bugs :P
