Philou 3.7 problem ...

I notice an odd behaviour with Philou 64-bit 3.7, he is using between 08-13% CPU instead of 25% (Q8400). Arena 2.0.1 and XP 64 bits ...

I've noticed this issue with previous Philou versions on occasions, so you're not alone.

Aja, when I run one instance there no problem, but when I run two instances Philou only uses 12-13% CPU (half 25%) and when I run three instances he uses 8-9% (third 25%) ...

I can confirm this behaviour!
Sorry about my first post - I did run only one match.
But with 2 matches I saw it.

Hi Werner,

no problems here with the same OS XP Pro x64 under Shredder Classic 4.0 GUI too.

But I have problems to analyze position.

Example:
Position move 25 is loaded.
Now go move back move forward.

Engine crashed.
Try it out with the x64 version of Philou 3.7.

I sent you a picture with task-manager an 2 times Philou loaded.
PS: no problems here with analyze function.

But when I setup a position and try to analyze: the engine crashes at once.

I don't undestand why when i run 2 exe of philou, it takes in processor activity 25% for each and not 50%.
I am using beginthread function in delphi, is there anybody who know pascal (in delphi), and can help me.
