PHQ for the three musketeer ...
P = POHL, Stefan Pohl, actual status "Expert"
H = HARTWIG, Benno Hartwig, actual status "Expert"
Q = QuisiQuasi, means Frank Quisinsky, actual status "sleeping pill"
This persons try out a setting, each have a good idea and the result is the most aggressive chess engine the World saw. Means PHQ is a combiantion from three good ideas in one setting.
Stockfish 2.1.1 JA (forth musketeer, Jim) x64 (hardware / software blabla) ... and now PHQ ...
Stockfish 2.1.1 JA x64 PHQ
Setting can be found in the configuration files from my latest SWCR download. The games too and I am sure you will have a lot of fun to replay all the nice games Stockfish in combination with the forth Musketeers played.
Hope it is quit clear now?
It's a pity that so many computer chess lovers are sleeping pills too.
PHQ = That is computer chess!
Of course in combination with Stockfish ... for sure!

I would love to see a new UCI version of The King. It looks as if The Chessmaster project is all but dead so maybe one day.mclane wrote:the king by johan de koning plays very difficult for humans.

While I am certain your settings must provide a fun game, my understanding of the original question was for unmodified engines.

Hehe. I'm surprised to hear this since Junior 7 was the most aggressive of all.Albert Silver wrote:Junior (any from 8 and up)
I would say Junior 7, WChess by Kittinger, Quark 2.35(yes, i find it very very aggressive), Gambit Tiger 2, Nimzo 8, The King(with Chessmaster 5500 and 5000). I forget many of course....
Newer engines play "perfectly" so no match for humans anyway.

"Is it a boy or girl?"
YES! He replied.....

I'd love to see one of MChess Pro and I know many others have expressed this notion too.Steve Maughan wrote:I would love to see a new UCI version of The King. Nobody has said, but I specially like to see Rookie games, not always it plays for king attack (altought often do it), but it plays a very dynamic play sacrificing lot of material for things like initiative, mobility and king attacks. It plays often in ICC. It remember me human agressive style, that which people like to see in human online tournaments.Kingghidorah wrote:I'll say Chess Tiger 2007. I know some GM will not even play it on ICC.
MChess Pro & Deep Junior are nice too along with Kittinger's baby, wChess.
Deep Sjeng was good too.
