Decrease in Elo: a question for Shrinks

Post by fern »

Yesterday I lose a game after not seeing that there was a rook behind a miserable pawn. When you get older the pieces in the board play those games: they hide from you and laugh on you.

I suggest that you simply replace your board to a smaller one.

The rook is not going to be able to hide behind a miserable pawn in 1*1 board instead of 8*8 board.

Reduce the size of the pawn by 1/2. :-) Or get a taller chair :-)

Best,
Gerold.

Well, gerold, I did reduce the pawn size and as a result i did not see that bloody one in file 7 which became a queen.
Please give me some better advice

Desperate regards
