Yes MP engines are nondeterministic ... you could run a position 5x and get 5 different results. What you will also find interesting is that if you run a position in MPV mode using say 5 lines of search ... in many cases you will find a strong winning move in less time that you would if you had only 1 line of search.

Any reason why?
(I suppose your remark is based on empirical notice...)
