Hmm, looks very complicated compared to the WinBoard Load Enginedialog:

Copying the various settings back to the input fields when you select an engine through the combox would be a good idea, though. (With 'Add to list' unticked.) You could then easily make a duplicate by changing the nickname.

It is really QueeNy 0.16 from Harm Geert. The autodetection from Arena
was wrong. I wonder how it clould play then at all, or may be Arena
loaded the next best UCI engine instead of it?
It clearly says it is xboard protover in the exe and beneath the string
QueeNy 0.16 it also contains strings for Capablanca and Gothic Chess.
Do you really say someone else has reported authorship for Harms
program?(at least the post from Pawel also seems to mean so?)

Well Mr.H.G.Muller- habitual I use WinBoard and Shredder GUIs. But for some experiments I use -sometimes-Arena. I must admit I'm not an expert in arenalogy.
Anyway your QueeNy engine it's a nice one ! Thank you !

Have a nice day !

Nope ! QN itself played ( see please the image from my very first post ).Otherwise QN was the single engine without a logo on my Arena.

No ! Just yesterday I have found this engine on a Polish site ( I like to review all Polish computer chess sites because I know a bit the Polish language). Because in my holiday I was far from my PCs , just yesterday I see this engine. Was a shock because of I never heard something about it. Of course in our hard times  they are any chance to exclude the idea of a clone ! That's all !

I think you are still missing the point. If it is UCI, it is NOT my program.

Hello Dear Mr.H.G.Muller !

A.
 It's QueeNy (any doubt)- but I don't know why Miky's masterpiece considers it an UCI entity ! Maybe it's a plot. Who knows ?
1-Works very well like WB in WinBoard.
2-Doesn't work in Shredder like UCI .
3-Doesn't work in Fritzy like UCI.

B.
I don't know why Mr. Pawel Koziol considers it a clone of Fruit.

C.
Me (SilvianR), I'm just an user not a programmer .Ask me everything about a chess position but not:
-why x program is original and y it's a x clone , or
-how z is UCI and k is CB/WB protocols , or
-how to crack aReNa GUI (for example  )- supposing this masterpiece being a commercial with triple  protection.

Well, because I want a nice day for you - after all these stressing days  here's my gifts for you:

-an interior of the old Opera Theatre in Iasi:

-the old University Library:

Have - you all - a nice weekend !
