NightmareX-thebaron:

[D] r4rk1/pbq2ppp/1pnn4/3p4/2pP1PN1/P1P1P3/1BB3PP/R2Q1RK1 w - - 0 16

Nf6+!. TheBaron played .. Kh8 and after Nxh7! NightmareX was winning. (.. gxf6 is no better due to Bxh7).

Not sure if thebaron saw this coming or not.

Sjeng-Deuterium2009:

[D] r3rb1k/1b1n2p1/pq1p3p/1ppn4/P3N1N1/6RP/1P3PP1/1BBQR1K1 w - -

Nxh6! This one is harder to find and ended the game practically right away.

Hello Jon:

The second position reminds me a lot the first position of Nolot test:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nolot

They are not the same, but a lot of pieces are in same squares, and the star move is also the same: Nxh6!! Long time ago, first position of Nolot was very hard for engines, but now is almost easy: Houdini 1.5a starts to think that Nxh6 is good in more less eight seconds in my sistem (a slow Dual Core w32), around the same time as some IvanHoe compiles. I think new StockFish takes less than a minute in my computer, and I think the same story applies to Rybka, Critter and ever Komodo last versions (although I have not checked it).

Regards from Spain.

Ajedrecista.

Correction: the 2nd position is from ChironX-Deuterium2009 (not Sjeng-Deuterium2009).

another sac from the game Redqueenchess-ChironX:

[D] 5rk1/4qpp1/p3b2p/B1p1P3/4Pn2/2P1RN1P/1r3PP1/R2Q2K1 b - - 0 22

ChironX played Bxh3 and after that the score went down the hill for Redqueen.

That was a ChironX game, I was observing it, IIRC. BTW, black blundered with the previous Qb6.
